Growing up on the Big Island of Hawaii, Chris has always loved the ocean. He studied astronomy at the university of Hawaii and utilizes his technical background to perform freediving fin testing. As a scientific diver Chris knows most of the local flora and fauna and visits the underwater world as a freediver, spearfisherman, and scuba diver on regular occassion. Chris also donates his time to host our annual Battle Roiale charity spearfishing event.

Chris has also traveled to the freedive the world championships as well as competing regularly in local competitions
